After removing fake antivirus spyware from an xp home sp3 machine, now internet explorer won't connect to internet.
Firefox stills works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not an admin or moderator, but I had a similar problem in the fall with my XP/SP3 machine too. Turns out the spyware reset the proxy settings in IE and once they were restored, IE ran fine. Good luck!
