I have McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 7.1.0.

I have updated the virus definition file, but Windows Security Alert still says my virus file is out of date.

I know I can turn off this alert but I have always used this alert as a reminder to update virus files.

Any insight or what I can do?

McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise is currently at ver. 8.7, so I'm curious if you're still getting automatic updates for 7.1....

Since you're not getting automatic updates anymore, that may be the reason, security center issues a warning.

I checked McAfee website. It appears that as of March 31, 2010 they no longer support verision 8. Since my version is below this, they probably no longer support this either. I need to find the Grand number so I can contact them for an updated version. Thanks.
