Hi all, 1st post so sorry to mods if in wrong thread.

I currently have the old digital malware and i cant get rid,

Im using a Dell inspiron 6400,

so far i have installed MALWAREBYTES, fully upgraded scanned and it found loads and apparently deleted them,

after re boot they came back GRRRR,

Then re started sysyetm in safe mode with networking scanned complete and found more
Rebooted and still they came back.

tried a TDSSKiller.zip no joy. tried to manually delete all items in regitry as found on the http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2010/04/...protection.html site
such as * HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{5E2121EE-0300-11D4-8D3B-444553540000}
* HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\SimpleShlExt
* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Digital Protection
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System "DisableTaskMgr" = "1"
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Digital Protection"

now at wits end and cant rid of the buggers.

tried deleting the associated files with no joy,

any help would be apprechited even if its to smash the thing up
