I would like to sell my Hp desktop w. Win XP Media center on it. What is the best way to remove all personal data?

Burn a Restore Disc if you haven't already, then do a full format and re-install from the Restore Disc.
If you are REALLY paranoid, there are programs that will wipe a hard drive better than just a format will, but for all intents just a format will do the job.

And don't expect to get too much from that computer... you can buy a brand new one with Win7 for $300, and that comes with a warrantee.
