Hello everyone,

I've been tinkering with computers since just a little before the Vic-20. I've done a number of things since then. However, with the job market the way it is, I took a position that I'm really swtarting to enjoy, the only problem is it deals mainly with mid to low level virus removal. Truthfully I find this very interesting, however, I feel like a complete idiot. Not even when I was fresh into computers do I feel grasping things was this difficult.

I'm hoping by joining and reading on this forum I can become as proficient with manual malware removal as I was with everything else. Areas that I really want to learn are like HiJackThis, autoruns and understanding processes like the back of my hand. Any assistance would be appreciated.
