Start up goes to the Safe Mode screen, saying that Windows not shut down properly, but will start as normal if left alone. I can connect to internet or open programs once. After a short time the screen or program will freeze, screen will get hazy and not allow to close program or explorer. Everything will blank out but the curser will still move.

Any information on this problem. I was told it could be a corrupt system, but seems like there is some other issue.

Thank you

open task manager and see if there are any odd entries in processes and if there are any that are taking up CPU.
