XP Repair Install

OK...I have a laptop that the keyboard on it is not working cause its not being recognized.
So we started a repair install...now i want to stop it is there anyway...and i mean anyway i have access to multiple machines that i could take the hard drive out and delete files or whatever just need to know how to stop the repair install.

I have not tested it but it makes sense.

I did not find this link the last time I had the same problem. I have always just done a nuke and reload.
