random freezing

PC freezes randomly maybe 2 or 3 times per day.I am on my PC 8hrs per day share dealing using java powered charts .
Sometimes will freeze whilst Im using it.Sometimes will freeze whilst Ive walked away.Checked most things I can think of .Tried 3 different browsers,4 different mice.Reinstalled operating system .Cleared out all the backgroud running systems I could find.Have Norton Symantic .Dont belive I have any Virus related issues. Temperatures,fan speeds and voltages all OK .Hard Drive only 35% utilisation Thanks Peter

Try this new fixing and diagnosis unit from Microsoft - Just click on each unit and see if it repairs your problems -

i had same prob are u runnng multiple realtime protection cause that was the problem i had, if you do uninstall one of them and see if it stops hanging
