I have Microsoft Security Essentials anti virus and Zone Alarm Free Firewall installed.
Yesterday I was informed by security essentials that I had been infected with Antimalware Doctor. It did deal with it ok, and then my Malwarebytes programme kicked in and did a full scan and got rid of anything else.

My point is, how did this get on my machine in the first place?

Am I protected enough with Microsoft Security Essentials and Zone Alarm? If I had got AVG or Avast on my machine would this virus got through?

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
