rebate infromer??

did anyone come across this program rebate informer.Its appearing in friends computer when she starts up.Its not in the start up programs and not in the program list.Any idea on how to remove it.Any help would be great thanks

Looks to me asi if its just another nuisance program which users install.

If the typical uninstall via Add/Remove Programs doesn't do it...then I would suggest manually checking files and the registry for relate files.

I would also disable suspected IE add-ons, regardless of origin.

Same computer as the one that has Cleanup Antivirus? If so, make sure you let the helper know, and we will close this thread to avoid confusion, and duplicate help.

anmimal i'm the same person as the one who posted the clean up vivus thread but there two diff computer sorry about the confusion.
