Back in January, I was browsing the internet and I guess I clicked on something that brought up a malware attack that my antimalware programs (AVG, Spybot, Adaware) defended against. I began clicking the deny access thing and eventually it stopped and I went about my computing session as usual.

But the next day, when I went to turn my computer on again, it loaded up until the Windows (XP) load screen and cut off to a blue screen that I took a picture of if it will help.

Pictures 1 and 2.

I tried the checkdisk solution given here, but it reaped no results. I don't want to reformat because I have a lot of things saved on there that are irreplaceable. Is there something else that I can try?

See if you can backup your important data with this:

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
