got hit by the Security Tool nasty today. Luckily I knew I had not installed it so was suspicious of where it came from and googled it for advice. So ended up here and most grateful. Took a long while to get rid of it, as it hijacked most of my computer commands and programs.
In the end , having found where it was located, I was able to right click on it and rename it.
Then when I rebooted, it did not open and I was able to install and run Malwarebytes.
I was so glad I have 2 computers and was able to get online with the other one to find help.
