Hello all,

Thank you for taking the time to read my problem.
I had to do a complete system reinstall for Dell Dimension 3000, reinstall went smooth, restored data after full virus scan nothing was found.

After shutting the system down, and being off for 10 - 30 minutes it restarts by itself. No error message show at all.

Dell Dimension 3000, P4 2.2, 512MB, DVD -CDRW, onboard video, sound.
XP Home SP3, Kaspersky 30 day trial.

I have another Dell 4550 is doing the same thing, this one running XP Pro, P-4 1.8, 768MB, new power supply, McAffe Internet Security, this one is located in my son's house. I have run virus scans and scans with malwarebytes nothing s found.

Please help me shed some light on this issue?

Thank you in advance

Thank you Keyboardninja, the "autowake" was enabled in BIOS. I disable it on both systems and the issue has gone away now. Best regards,
