My Dell running xp pro sp2 takes anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to finally recognize the wireless signal coming from my belkin wireless g router. All my other machines recognize it instantly. What could be the problem? I've installed the latest drivers for the trendnet card, with no luck.

Hi guttyguppy

What kind of signal strength are you seeing? Are you next to something / behind something that could be blocking - causing interference?

Other than that, can you swap a card between this computer and another to see if the problem follows the wireless nic...

Good luck,
