Hello, I am a new member of Bleeping Computer. I first learned, or should I say directed to this site by reference from Geeks To Go, another outstanding 'geek' site.
Both sites has assisted me in resolving issues that were getting the best of me and most of all, by using HiJackThis, ensuring the workstation is fully clear of any adware/spyware, etc.
The assistance has been exceptional.

As for me, I am 62 yo, retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority, actually RIF'ed out 2 years before qualifying for full retirement. I now work for the State of Tennessee, Board of Probation and Parole as the IS support for the southeastern part of the state. I supervisor 2 additional techs in the Knoxville and Johnson City area.

I'm asked to work on fellow employees personal PCs/laptops and generally a good 'cleaning', following the 'Do this first before posting' guide @ Geeks To Go does the trip. But sometimes I need to do the HJT thing and post it.

I am thankful for knowing about this site and look forward to using the resources... Thanks for providing it....

Hello and  to Bleeping Computer.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
