First post hope I'm doing this right. Any help is appreciated.

When I perform a google search and click on any of the search results I get redirected to to a page unrelated to the to the search.

I have XP media edition. I ran malwarebytes and this removed some things but I still get redirected when I click on one of the search results. I also ran Hijack this but I don't know what to do with the log file. i have not received any help from anyone and I am not skillful enough to figure this out myself.

I have the fee edition of AVG anti virus runnig.

thanks for any help you can give.

I would be willing to run combo fix and post the results if this is what I should do. I would also be willing to psot the hijackthis log is you'd like.
