Hello,
Can I use chkdsk on an intact NFS based RAID 1 Array or do I have to break the array first?
Thanks!

is there a reason for wanting to run chkdsk?
the controller should tell you whether or not there is a hardware failure.

From what I see, you should never consider running chkdsk on a RAID.

Agreed. Which is why I asked what the reasoning was for wanting chkdsk? RAID was designed to eliminate the need for alternative disk checking.
