Hello,

I am a novice but have utilized this forum in the past to resolve issues and sincerely value the resources provided within this forum. After exhausting all options that I am aware of, this is my first post and appreciate any assistance the community can provide. After following forum instructions to remove malware I continue to have my Google search re-directed to unwanted websites. I have performed the following:

-CoolWebSearch--clean
-SuperAntiSpyware in safe mode--removed Trojan and adware
-MalwareBytes in safe mode--removed 9 entries
-Spybot S&D--no infections
-Combifix--blue screen
-CWS shredder--no infections
-Ad-Aware--removed tracking cookies
-HiJackThis--removed 5 entries

I currently use:

-Sony Vaio TZ
-Vista 32 bit
-AVG Free edition (latest)
-Firefox 3.6

The following is my latest HiJackThis file:

Hi,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

  • ----

Download GMER here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:
    • Double-click .exe that you downloaded
    • Click rootkit-tab, uncheck files option and then scan.
    • Don't check
      Show All
      box while scanning in progress!
    • When scanning is ready, click Copy.
    • This copies log to clipboard
    • Post log (if the log is long, archive it into a zip file and attach instead of posting) in your reply.
