Recently, for about a few weeks now when I go online with my Mozilla browser a window pops up claiming to be from Microsoft. In the upper corner it says Microsoft Internet Security. Then warns that my browser is in high risk for infection unless I give permission to install Online Protection Tool by Microsoft Windows. Has anyone seen this before? Is this legitimate software from Windows? I tried asking the people at windows directly and I am still waiting a week later for a reply. Help! if you can, greatly appreciated

Read this link - Online Protection Tool, fake pop-up alert that looks like a Windows warning:

You could try to resolve the problem with Malwarebytes - if the problem persists,
report back and you can get help from the more experienced members of this Forum.
