Everything works fine cameras , scanner etc etc except the laser printer. Brother hl-1030 on lpt 1 parralel port.
Whe you ask for a print test page whatever it proceeds to print then the job gets deleted and no print.
I have no idea what can be causing this can anyone hide my embaressment please.

Best

Looks like you need to install the proper drivers.

First, follow these directions to remove the drivers currently installed.

Then, follow these directions to install the new drivers.

Try using a different browser. They won't work in Firefox for me sometimes...have to use IE.

you're usually going to get an error back unless the computer thinks the print job completed successfully. Are there multiple printers at this location? Your print might be going to the wrong printer if so. If there's only 1 printer there, remove the printer driver, and reinstall a new one.

If that doesn't work, uninstall the printer driver again, go to your printers folder, then file>server properties>Drivers tab and remove the printer driver you are having an issue with. This removes it from system completely. Then reinstall your printer driver from your downloaded install file again. This can resolve an issue with windows thinking an old incorrect driver is the better driver, by eliminating the old ones altogether.

Happy Printing!
