I just purchased two SAPPHIRE 100296HDMI Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card to place in my ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AM3 DDR3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard. The board came with two crossfire bridges, but the cards do not have the tab to which the bridge connects. Do I need the cards connected by a bridge to have them work in crossfire? If so, where do you connect the bridge?

I don't believe you use the bridge on those.

They interface through the motherboard.

If there is no bridge, then they crossfire through the motherboard, so as long as the motherboard is crossfire enabled, you are good to go.

I will go with that, thanks. I am still building the new computer. I am installing Windows 7. I have a 640 GB hard drive and a 1 TB hard drive. I wanted to partition the 640 into 3 partitions and the 1 TB into 4. But it never gave me an opportunity to do so. It just installed the OS. Now I don’t even see the 1 TB on my computer. I see it under storage management. How do you partition drives on Windows 7 and also make it recognize drives?

You should just be able to reformat it and assign a drive letter there.
