Ok, so one time I connected 2 monitors. I played a full screen on one while had the desktop on the other. When I would click anything on the desktop monitor, the fullscreen game would close. Is there anyway to make it so that it doesn't minimize the game? It would be nice if you could do things like instant message while playing a game in fullscreen.

Unfortunately what you are trying to do cannot be done with games like Half-Life and Quake and stuff like that. They are designed to use the primary monitor.

There's no game in particular. I play mostly racing games. I don't have another monitor set up anyway, but I did for a few days and I was able to play the game in full screen on the primary monitor and view a webpage or whatever on the 2nd monitor. But the minute I try to scroll down that webpage, the game minimizes. It would be nice to be able to play a game and invite people to join in without minimizing the game.

Its not a big deal and I'm not using 2 monitors now anyway, but I just don't see why the primary monitor should have to minimize if you want to do something so simple on the other monitor.

You are taking the focus away from the game and wanting to do something else so the game minimizes by design.
