I just baught this new SyncMaster 940B Samsung 19" LCD screen

when i plugged it in i noticed horizontal waves, i tried unplugging my speakers and moving everythign away that has a magnet but its still there
its plug and play so i guess it doesnt need drivers? i also did a driver scan it came out okay.

im also running a 9400GT 512mb nvidia video card.
anyone have any clues? could it be a faulty wire or something?

thanks in advance,
jason

Since this is a fairly old model, I guess you don't mean new as in brand new?

Are you using VGA, DVI or tried both? Can you try it on another computer to see if it does the same thing? If it does, I'd suspect it may have some bad capacitors in its power supply.

The specifications I've found say it has DVI input.
