I'm a new member on these forums, here with a problem I see is all too common.
ESET detected Win32/Olmarik trojan in the memory of my PC but cannot remove it. Also, ESET doesn't show any infected files, only the memory.
I have also run Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware, it did not find anything.
There are really no signs of the infection, at least not what I have seen others report (browser redirections, for example).
PC seems to be running fine, no slowdowns, network is up-to-speed, net surfing is fine. The one single problem that occured is the newest Vista security patch gave me an "ffffff" error, which according to MS is indication that I have malware.
Only ESET pops up a little red window when the PC starts saying Win32/Olmarik trojan in the memory.
If you could help me locate what causes this, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
hPi
