Hi, recently after scanning with tdsskiller, it showed that I had a tdss rootkit in atapi.sys, but it couldnt seem to remove it. The rootkit redirects my browser everytime I click on a link in a search engine. How can I remove it? I've scanned with Malwarebytes', Spybot, SAS, and am currently scanning with GMER. I've found some atapi.sys things in GMER already but i'll, wait for it to finish before I do anything.

Thanks

Hello. you need to post that GMER log with a DDS log in A new topic.

Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9 and not here, thanks.
If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.
