Over the last few weeks I have been dealing with multiple computer problems. My pc had the XP Defender 2010 malware, my browser has been redirecting most links I clicked, and just recently Prevx detected multiple rootkits which were linked with most of my startup processes. I checked out the folders where these problems were occurring and noticed that the original .exe files had been renamed, and new .exes with the original name of the legit file, took their place. Where do I start?
