Hello. My name is John and after repeatedly seeing bleepingcomputer come up through my various searches, I realized that it was a legitimate and helpful place to come for answers. I'm always careful about whose advice I act on and am technically savvy enough to know when someone knows what they are doing and whether their advice makes sense. I've been lurking around this site for a while now and I was convinced that it was worth joining. I am always consulted by friends regarding their problems. I can handle most issues but occasionally there is a pest that I just can't seem to eradicate. This site seems to be a useful resource and I am looking forward to learning more about Malware and Viruses to make me more proficient in dealing with them. I'm also looking forward to contributing by answering posts on topics that I have some experience with.

See you around the board!

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
