Hi i downloaded this update now i cant even get a start menu up have been running start up repair and its slowly going through files but what the hells has happened to my comp ..... any help would be greatfully appreciated thank you ..... I'm a complete numpty when it comes to technology so if i ask dumbass questions please be kind thanks :thumbsup:

What kind of computer is this?

Gateway, Dell, HP, custom built, or another OEM?

Did you make sure all your drivers and software were updated prior to the update?

yes i think so i update it regually .... i have wifi access my flat mate has got an acer desktop and shes got a load of trogans on hers and probs with no start up screen if she doesnt go through safe mode with networkingh is it possible it jumped or something ?

but i cant even get windows to run im doing the start up repair and its going slowly throuigh the files but will it just wipe again once im finished doing this ? ( spent 2 and a half days so far ) thanks

ok we think its still hiding in start up menu on this one used maALEWARE BYTES TREND MICRO HOUSE CALL , and several others is there one that can keep this virus gone ? as everytime restart it seems to come back

Rerun MBAM and post the logs. I will ask to move your thread to the am I infected section.

Whatever you do, don't interrupt repair process. Be patient.

i know its being done by manually one corrupted registry at a time lol thanks though xxxx
