I am in the process of selling my HP built PC that came with a Norton license. I was wondering if it is possible to install it on my new computer as well. I've heard some many new Norton licenses allow you to install it on several machines but where can I check to see if my license allows me to do that?

Is this a retail store copy or a download copy? Do you have a reciept, for your purchase or a support account with Symantec?

The scenario you describe leads me to believe you will need another license for each computer you want it on.
