Where can I find a cheap prepaid type cell phone for experimentation?

I already have a cell phone, I am not looking for something to rely on but am looking for something to play with incoming/outgoing data and messages. Cheaper is better and a sim card isn't a must but would be cool.

Trac Phone Retailers: click here

Thats just one of several. Boost Mobile, is a bit pricer for handsets, Virgin moblie, Net 10. Almost all carriers have a rebranded prepaid group.

When ever I need something like a pre-paid phone or something similar, I check out Slickdeals or Fatwallet first, they usually can help finding the best deals out there, IMO.
