Does anyone believe the product made by Webroot "Spy Sweeper" is in it self another spyware type program?

From local computer shows; I have heard this is the case, . . .

Appreciate your time.,

I've heard issues regarding the program, similar to what you've said, but I believe and respect webroot as a software vendor.

The ratings on the program are high it seems from different reviews I've read.

Could get wordy about it, but yep, they all are bad boys. It explains the problem(s) that earned them inclusion on the list if you look in the comments column of each entry. :flowers:

That is a wonderful list to bookmark to your favorites, you never know when it will come in handy.

There is a Pal Spyware Remover on the list, you might want to read about it. Error nuker is made by the same company that makes Spywarenuker (edit: http://www.pchell.com/reviews/errornuker.shtml ), which is also on the list, but if you read the note in the comment section that company may have cleaned up its act and may "possibly" be going to be removed from the list.

Pal is not the best scanner and is rogue. It is belived that CoffeeCup Spyware Remover, Easy Spyware Killer, JC Spyware Remover and PAL Spyware Remover are all the same program, just rebranded.

Error Nuker I have not seen so I have no info on it.
