When online, a pop-up said my son't computer was infected. He immediately rebooted because he suspected foul play. Later, we ran MalwareBytes successfully and found six or eight rogue rootkits or worms or whatever and removed them.
We also ran CCleaner. We hoped everything would be back to normal, but it wasn't. As a result his email works but not his Internet access.

Anyone help here?

Could you please post the log from Malwarebytes.
  • The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply and exit MBAM.
