Hi, have been recommended these boards by a friend after ending up with various trojan horses that proved difficult to get rid of.

I am being a good girl now  and not downloading things I shouldn't (eg software to see who is blocking me on msn!!!!) so hopefully won't need help but am looking forward to learning more about my computer.

You will find a lot of useful information in the Tutorials and in the forums. Like most of us, you have learned the hard way to be very wary of what you download, and do some research about it first. Gunk is a lot easier to put on your computer than it is to get rid of it.
Welcome to BC!
