Hello All:

As you may know MS removed Movie Maker from 7. I went to the MS site and they seemed to have bundled a huge 135 meg download that has a version that will run on 7 but it has a bunch of other crap you can't seem to delete that will install as well. I'm not doing that. I then tried to just download Photostory 3 as all I want to do is make uploadable music to Youtube with still photos as the video content. Photostory 3 won't install on 7 either. So now you know my goal. Little help anyone? Thaks in advance!

In Windows 7, you have to install Windows Live pack to install the Movie Maker. This version is a little different.

You can also download the XP version of MovieMaker and copy the files in Windows 7 to run it there. Here is how :
- Download Movie Maker.zip
- Extract contents to a folder.
- Right-click on RunOnce.bat and select Run as administrator.

Now you can run the XP version of Movie Maker in Windows 7.

Thanks for the reply. I actually downloaded the huge live file and was able to uninstall things I didn't want like Messenger etc.
