A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
I'm the one friends and people at work usually come to for help with computer issues. I don't have any IT training, I just use common sense and my own experience. But sometimes that's not quite enough.
I've helped others and haven't screwed up anybody's PC's but after too much trial and error on mine, well, they're getting a little sketchy! Opps!
