So, I recently dbanned a laptop, and after the wipe it does not recognize any of the boot disks that I have tried.

My boot sequence is set correctly, and I am fairly sure my boot disks are good. (I have used my ubuntu and hiren's boot disks on many occasions, although the 64 bit xp disk that I am trying to install on the laptop is new to me)

I did not hard reboot the laptop during the nuke or anything like that, and frankly I'm at quite a loss.

Oh, and btw: the dban disk works just fine. Dban is the only cd that the laptop reacts to in any way.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

so by not read do you mean it does not boot from them, when you try to boot from them does the computer look like it is trying to boot from them at all?
