I recently got a fake-antivirus program on my computer, and I removed it with the standard rkill and malwarebytes programs. Everything seemed to return to normal, but ever since then, google chrome, internet explorer and zune marketplace have been unable to access the internet. I tried updating to the newest version of internet explorer, but nothing has changed. Firefox is working fine with no problems. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I believe that malware changes your network settings, invoking a proxy server that interferes with normal system connection capability.

See info under Error 732, http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-remo...alware-tutorial.

If that doesn't apply, you may still be infected...let us know if the proxy server adjustment does the trick.
