Ive always thought ive just had ridiculously slow internet provider (70kbps at max during download) but recently i was at a friends house with the same internet as me and his was much faster. My computer has 4g of ram and is generally fast except on the internet. on speedtest.net, it says my connection speed is like 1/10 of the average service provider speed. could someone plz do a troubleshoot or something for me?

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Your first step is to contact your ISP and complain.
