Anyone have info on this trojan?

A-Squared found a trojan (I don't remember the name), and I deleted it. As soon as I did that, I got an error message. "Windows detected a critical error and will shut down" Nothing happened, but I was in a panic mode, and restarted my PC. But it wouldn't reboot, it went into a loop...never reaching Windows Vista. I thought my hard drive went out. Luckily, I had a back up and replaced the hard drive. But the original hard drive wasn't defective. I figured the mbr got corrupted by the trojan...I am guessing.

Anyone have the same experience or have knowledge of same?
