Hi all,

first post, first big (ish) problem in a long while so thanks in advance for your help!

I ended up with 'Your Protection' installing itself on my computer - not happy! I hunted on the web for a bit and found a useful topic on here telling you how to remove it using Malwarebyte's Anti Malware. I thought it had worked fine until I came to re-install AVG free which said it was still installed... I am running Malwaebytes again as we speak.

In addition to this I have scour.com popping up all over the place when I google search. I have gathered that this is a reasonably common problem but it sounds like to fix it I need someone who understands 'logs' and all sorts of things of that nature; am I right?

Would these logs show up any other problems relating to 'Your Protection' too?

I am running Firefox 3.6.3 and Windows XP - hope that is all you need...?

Can anyone help please, I need my computer for work a lot and it is really driving me up the wall!

Thanks again in advance,
Ted
