pncrt.dll ?

I tried to uninstall RealPlayer via control panel, add/remove and it says C:\windows\system\pncrt.dll componenet could not be deleted. Can I do this manually ? Other componenets in program files amd start menu that it could not remove, I already have but I don't wanna mess with system folder unless soemone tells me it's OK. Thanks.

I have 98SE.

That file may have been in use and for that reason could not be removed. You can probably delete that file. Find it and right click it to check the properties. Look under the version tab and if its a Real Player file it can be safely removed. Having said that, it won't harm anything to leave it there.

LOL no reply for a while so I thought no one was going to respond. Just tried to bump the thread.

Or did you ask me what crickets meant ?
