Windows 7 upgrade for LifeCam 1.4 doesn't work with 7000, at&t impression software didn't take. Windows said to run chkdsk. It stops at step 2 file indexes. What do I do now ***Mod edit***

Uninstall the failed software. Check out this site:

Note that you should let Chkdsk run for quite a while plus Virus protection sftware KAV is a known issue if you happen to be using it.

you may require to install the necessary driver from the vendor to get it to work.
