My new Windows XP SP3 sometimes slow when I open some programs (i.e., Winamp + Installer of <insert program/game here> + YM). It's so slow at responding things.
I haven't created too much possibilities, but I'll try to say some:

I think it's CPU, but not video card, since my video card is so clean that it looks new.
And sometimes blinking for no apparent reason.

How much RAM installed?

How much free space on C: and how large is C:?

System manufacturer and model?

Have you checked Device Manager for indications of problems?

Tried running chkdsk /r command...and defragging system afterward?

RAM: 1GB
C: Free Space: 12.0 GB | C: Total Size: 18 GB
System: I don't know =/
Device Manager & chkdsk /r command & Defrag: Nope. (My Windows XP SP3 is only a new format so I won't check things like that)

There's nothing really wrong with it, the main problem is only the blinking ones and a little in slow response.
It wasn't happening again a while ago so I haven't checked on most things.

Down this: CPU-Z and tell us what you see on the motherboard tab and the processor.

It only blink for no apparent reason. Although I don't have any programs left open. And the mouse has pink splotches on it and beginning to have a different look on it.
When I try to screenshot it, it only turns into black.
