 Hi, I would like to introduce myself a bit. I am a 59 year old disabled woman who uses my PC for many things not the least of which is supplementing my SSI with transcripts for a court reporter. This means my PC working properly is critical to that endeavor. I'm am sort of computer literate, meaning I am certainly not in this forum's league but I'm not stupid either. I also know how to follow explicit instructions to the letter which we all know is a computer is critical. So that said I would like to go on to get some help with my PC on a subsequent post to the Help Forum. Thank you for letting me join to get some help here.

BC was created so that non-experts (and so-called experts) would have a resource for information and could ask for help and receive it in a friendly way avoiding a lot of technical argot. Members of this user community share their knowledge and experience in different areas, so that everyone can learn a little more about computing.
Regards, and welcome to BC!
