ok my computer did auto updates and in the night. when i woke up it was on a loop.

the computer starts up says please wait windows is configuring updates. then it says it cannot finish and is rolling back updates and restarts. this is a never ending loop. is there anyways to fix this. i really really really dont want to reformat this.

ive tried safemode, last kown good config and it does the same thing.

At the screen with "Advanced Boot Options", do you see "Repair your computer" at the top of the list? If so, choose it and you can access a recovery environment that will allow you to do a System Restore to right before the update was installed (Windows Update always makes a restore point before installing new updates).

If you cannot see "Repair your computer", you will need to boot off your Windows 7 installation disc or a system repair disc to access the recovery environment.
