I have a new Dell computer with Windows 7. I use a Treo 680 (Palm os) for my calendar and adresses, to dos, etc. How do I synch it with new computer? My treo is a smart phone but I do not use it for e-mail or internet.

Do it the same way you synched it with your old machine, one would think. Do you have a software desktop manger for the phone? If so install that on your new machine.

This just reminded me, I hadn't put the Palm Desktop (and HotSync) software on my new Win 7 machine

I've got the Palm Centro, somewhat different but same Palm OS

http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/ar...en.html#windows get you the software.

It doesn't *specifically* say Win 7, but I just installed it, and ran a HotSync just fine.
You do have to reboot to get it to work.

mpdca: thanks for asking the question, it jogged my brain
