I have downloaded several tools to recover my lap top and copied them to a CD

I cannot use the laptop because of fake antivrus that give multiple infection warnings
internet explorer is not launchable

rkill stops the continuous messages
gmer runs but freezes half way

The virus destroys any files that counter it
It cannot write to the CD, But it can stop the programs
On a USB drive these programs get wiped out

What can i do?

When you ran Rkill, which version of the RKill file did you download and run?

Try running this tool...

Download exeHelper to your desktop.
Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
Post the contents of exehelperlog.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com, and should open at the end of the scan)
Note: Please do not PM me asking for help, instead please post it in the correct forum requesting for help. Help requests via the PM system will be ignored.

If I'm helping you and I don't reply within 48 hours please feel free to send me a PM.

The help you receive here is always free but if you wish to show your appreciation, you may wish to Posted Image.
