My brother has the free version of Incredimail. (AAAARRRRGGG!!!!)
I was looking to get rid of the attachments and so I clicked the Help button.
To my surprise I was re-directed to the Firefox help page.
I tried this three or four times to no avail. My brother called me later to tell me that he could neither send nor receive messages. I had him re set up his mail account and when he sent me a message I received it but the test message I sent him, he could not receive. Error 550.
Anyone know what the hell is going on with this piece of crap ????

Have him review and double-check the setting of the SMTP server for his account in Incredimail.

John

Ok, thanks. He lives out in the boonies so I guess I'll have to go out and make sure he's crossed his T's and dotted his I's.

Thanks again.

Do you suppose the gods of computing were sending him a sign?

The mail servers would be input exactly the same way as he had them for OE or whatever other email client he has/had.

Tell him to look at his mail account in whatever mail client he used before and just make sure Incredimail has the same settings for smtp and mail servers.
