May I, please on behalf of a Friend, ask is it possible to change the shape of the Folders associated with Windows 7, to that of XP ( I do not know why he wishes this ? )

You will have to define what you mean by "shape of the Folders associated with Windows 7". Are you referring to the icons?

Can you post a screenshot?

You can try using windows classic.

One way to make them look like a simple folder as in XP is by clicking the "More Options" pull-down arrow (it's located off to the right of "New Folder" and select "small icons" to get a simpler looking, non-aero folder. But sorry, I don't know if there's a way to do this globally, or if you have to do it on each screen you're on.

Download shell32.dll of XP. Put it in root folder like C:\shell32.dll

Read this tutorial on how to change the icons, only use c:\shell32.dll,3 as your folder icon.

yes, that is possible.

changing the folder to the desired shapes is easy with folderchanger.

get it from .. .
