I'm guessing that I should put this here, even though I don't think I have any infections on my computer.

Anyways, starting today, all of the sudden, my computer is being very slow. When I click on things that have menus, the menus slowly fade into existance, rather than coming up promptly like they should, and when I scroll down a screen, it's all choppy. I'm running Windows XP with all updates.

Here's a sample hijackthis in case you need it.

This space will eventually have something very cool to fill it up, but not right now.

Hello Zen00 and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. Other than not having a Start Page set for IE the log is clean.

For performance issues I would suggest posting a question in the Windows XP forum and follow their guidance.

Cheers.

Thank you very much, just making sure.

A suggestion, I always loose my thread amoungst the throng of other people trying to get their questions answered. Could you possibly add an author search function to the forum, or send a personal message to a person when you answer their problem?

Hi Zen00,

At the top of every forum page you'll see a link My Topics.
A click on that will show you every thread that you've posted into.

Additionally, in the My Control Panel link at the top of the page,
you'll find under "Options" > "Board Settings", boxes to be checked for various
e-mail notifications.
